Sedition Wars Vanguard Painted

Red Squadron, checking in.

The first five of the Vanguard for Sedition Wars, painted fairly quickly over the weekend. I intend to paint each squad of five with an identifying shoulder pad colour. I am also on the lookout for some decals to number the troopers.

Some close-ups, showing the fine details on the figures. A base colour and a glaze or two is all I have done here, the sculpt does the hard work for you.

Very nice for such a quick turn around. I shall be playing the game soon, looking forward to it.

Very nice. Can I ask another glaze question? Is the glaze done in multiple thin layers?

That depends on how intense a colour you want. The glaze on the white armour is just once, for a light shading. The glaze on the helmet was several, red/orange mix on the lower half of the visor, yellow/white on the upper half. The black glaze on the guns is the best one, over a grey base colour, instant shading and highlighting of the weapon, no messing about with layering. Hope that helps.
