I finished painting the ghouls (hobbit goblins). They are multi-based on 2mm mdf in various sizes, meaning I can field this unit as 5x4, 6x4, 7x4, or 6x5. I will probably add a few generic fillers to the army at some point, to give me more flexibility, though I'm not sure how to do this yet as I am not a huge fan of them.
Some more pictures below to celebrate the start of a new year! I would like to think I can keep at the army for at least two more months, so hopefully more deadites on the way. I will at least re-photograph the current army at some point and post it here.

Looking good for ghouls... I think they fit that bill better than being goblins. Can't wait to see more of this army from you now.
Ok, I'm sold - superb work executing a new take on these models. I've been wracking my brain for some alternate WHQst undead minions - these are definitely the ticket, thanks for showcasing them!
They are awesome.
I'm not very familiar with the Hobbit range, are these converted at all or just painted ghoul?
These are interestingly weird looking and really work as ghouls with that paintjob.
Great job. Not only is the paint job excellent, but man, fast work. It confirms my suspicions that these make perfect ghouls.
These guys are amazing!!! I have had them on my radar for years and with the release of the new AOS rules for Ghouls it is time to give it a try. Do you have any advice or a method how to paint them? I thought you posted one on TWF but i cannot find it anymore.
Chris
